Personally, I was always a fan of the loud, but not so top quality music. I didn’t understand people, who spend a fortune for hi-end speakers, until I heard a pair. The same applies to earphones; you will never know what “the perfect natural sound” is, unless you are ready to spend a little more. Most of the users will get a pair of earphones for around €5 to €10. Of course, they will listen to their favorite music, but most of the sounds won’t be available. That’s why, if you actually want to listen to music, you have to get one of these – Meze 11 Deco.

Even now, one of my favorite songs – Breathe (Prodigy), is blasting in my ears. The bass is simply amazing and the sound is crystal clear. There is no disturbance, bending or whatsoever. The quality stays perfect even at maximum volume. It is very interesting that even after two hours of non-stop listening; there are no signs of dizziness, headache or something like that. The 11 Decos fit perfectly to your ears thanks to the three different sizes of silicone earphone plugs. The sound isolation is exceptional and even when you are listening to music quietly, no external sounds will bother you.

The 11 Deco earphones offer extremely splendid playback for all types of music, from Symphony No. 40, through Counting Stars (OneRepublic) to Voodoo (Godsmack). The low range is clearly present and since the model is bass-oriented you may expect from it to make the most music to sound a lot blurred or obstructed. Well, you are wrong, because the mid- and high-range are also much emphasized.

Also considering the impressive sensitivity measuring 101+/-2dB at 1KHz1mW and the wide frequency response: 17Hz to 25KHz, the 11 Decos are a real bargain. There is also a built-in microphone and 3.5mm gold-plated plug ensuring better conduction and more clear sound.

Other special features include “non-tangle” cord, which is easily untwisted, if happen. The roomy and nice carrying case also prevents the earphones from tie in knots. There is also a diagonal plug with a 45 degree angle, which offers better range of motion and decreases wear and tear.

The 11 Decos can outperform much more expensive earphones in terms of overall audio quality, sound and last, but not least – style. Those, who search for a pair of versatile set of earphones should definitely consider buying Meze 11 Deco.
