Creative unveils Inspire T3300 and T6300 desktop speakers

Creative Technology has unveiled two new additions to the Inspire line of speakers – the T3300 and T6300 desktop speakers. The two new products are built for superior audio performance and seek to provide the best audio performance possible at great value.

The Inspire T3300 is a 2.1 stereo speaker system that offers great audio at a value price. The T6300 is a full 5.1 audio system that targets gamers on a budget and is great for watching movies, playing games and music listening.

The superb audio performance of the Creative Inspire T3300 and Creative Inspire T6300 speaker systems is achieved by a stringent and optimised component selection process, precision tuning, as well as new enhancements in Creative’s innovative design methodology that features a new improved Creative Image Focusing Plate (IFP) and the Creative Dual Slot Enclosure (DSE) within the compactly designed satellite speakers.

The improved Creative Image Focusing Plate (IFP) allows the satellite speaker to provide an increased acoustic throw to the user’s listening area, resulting in an even wider acoustic sweet spot compared to past IFP design. It also creates a “gentle flare” around the driver, thereby improving the overall efficiency of the speaker without affecting tonal balance and accuracy of the audio source.

Here’s what the Creative Inspire T3300 offers:

  • Compact 2.1 channel speaker system designed for use with PC, notebook or MP3 player;
  • An improved Creative IFP on front baffle of each satellite speaker improves sonic directivity and imaging to give greater focus and an even wider acoustic sweet-spot while preserving tonal accuracy;
  • Creative Dual Slot Enclosure (DSE) – Each satellite speaker incorporates a truly functional port tube fitted within a tight enclosure. This design improves frequency distribution for the entire system, delivering more bass and louder playback;
  • Subwoofer features a large, flared port tube for clean bass with adjustable bass control;
  • Wired remote control for convenient volume adjustment;
  • Stereo Analog Input (3.5mm);
  • Technical Specifications;
  • Satellite Size: 86W x 177H x 93D;
  • Satellite Power: 5.5 watts per channel;
  • Subwoofer Size: 160W x 214H x 243D;
  • Subwoofer Power: 16 watts;
  • Frequency: 40Hz – 20kHz;
  • SNR: > 75dB;

And here’s what you’ll get out of the Creative Inspire T6300:

  • Sleek 5.1 channel speaker system designed to deliver vivid cinematic surround sound ideal for games and movies;
  • Unlike conventional speakers, the front baffle of each satellite speaker features the latest improved design of the Creative IFP that employs a gentle flare around the driver, improving its directivity and imaging to give greater focus and a even wider sweet-spot without affecting the tonal balance. As a result, users get to enjoy a greater 5.1 sound field for games and movies, evoking a sense of realism;
  • Subwoofer features a long-throw down firing 5.25″ driver that help delivers a rich and impactful bass;
  • Creative Dual Slot Enclosure (DSE) – Each satellite speaker incorporates a truly functional port tube fitted within a tight enclosure. This design improves frequency distribution for the entire system, delivering more bass and louder playback;
