Samsung intros wireless audio speaker system

Samsung Electronics America has announced the commercial availability of the Samsung Shape Wireless Audio Multiroom speaker system (WAM750 in short) enabling music fans to enjoy high quality audio anywhere. The new speaker can be used alone or together with the Samsung Hub (WAM250) and M7 speakers for a multi-room sound system.

The system is very easy to use – connect the device to the Internet and download the app that will control it. You can then connect the additional M7 speakers in any room of the home for excellent sound everywhere. The system also supports advanced connectivity, which includes support for NFC and Bluetooth.

“In today’s homes, consumers are engaging with a multitude of devices for entertainment, including Smart TVs and smartphones,” said Jim Kiczek, Director of Digital Audio and Video at Samsung Electronics America. “The Samsung Shape M7 was designed to fit and work perfectly in the Samsung family of home entertainment products, offering simplicity, versatility and incredible sound, all accessed with a touch of a smartphone.”

In addition the new system supports Wi-Fi technology but with advanced functions and features that guarantee problem-free data transfer around for any device in range. Thanks to support for Amazon Cloud Player, Pandora, Rhapsody and other technologies you can play different music in different rooms.

The new Samsung sound system will be available on October 13 for USD 399.99. The Samsung Hub will also come on October 13, but will cost USD 49.99.
