Nikon COOLPIX S8100 With Compact Design Introduced

Nikon COOLPIX-S8100Nikon announced today the COOLPIX S8100 which is equipped with a 12.1 megapixel backside illumination CMOS sensor and offers great 10X Zoom while capturing fast-moving targets in blur-free images and high-definition video footage at 1080p.

The Nikon COOLPIX S8100 comes with features that will help your capturing moments, including high-speed shooting at up to ten frames per second and a pre-shooting cache that will catch up to two shots before the release of the shutter is fully pressed. The device also incorporates a Sports Continuous mode, thanks to which photographers will be able to record up to 120 frames per second, offering extremely fast action shots.

The S8100 can also automatically track a target by activating the autofocus, thanks to the “Subject Tracking” feature on the S8100. Nikon’s EXPEED C2 image processing engine ensures the production of outstanding images and high definition video footage.

The Nikon S8100 is equipped with a 10X Optical Zoom NIKKOR ED Glass Lens, which allows the consumers to record movies in full high definition at 1080p and also images at a very close distance.

The S8100 also features a four-way vibration reduction Image Stabilization System with ISO 3200 settings, to help deliver crisp and sharp images.

The “Creative Slider” featured in the COOLPIX S8100 simplifies the adjustment of brightness, saturation and color tone in the camera, while other editing functions like Quick Retouch and D-Lighting offer the ability to adjust images during playback.

The COOLPIX S8100 by Nikon comes equipped with a three inch ultra high resolution Clear Color Display with a very wide viewing angle and anti-glare coating. Additional features include 17 scene modes, Scene Auto Selector, Smart Portrait System, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, Face-Priority AF, Blink Warning, Smile Timer and Skin Softening.

The Nikon COOLPIX S8100 is expected to release later this month for the price of $299.95 in black, red and gold colors.
