Creative offers SB Inferno gaming headphones

Creative Technology has announced a new gaming headset that quite naturally targets gamers and offers excellent audio quality for all kinds of scenarios.

The new company product is called SoundBlaster Inferno and is fully compatible with PC, Mac, mobile gaming and PlayStation 4. The device relies on 40 mm Neodymium full spectrum drivers that deliver powerful audio and there also are plush earpads and lightweight headbang for better comfort. In addition the SB Inferno comes with a detachable microphone with an easily accessible volume control that makes it perfect not only for gaming but also for music and voice communication. The audio quality of the headset can be further improved if the device is connected to a dedicated Sound Blaster internal sound card with CrystalVoice technologies that eliminate unwanted sound and optimize voice quality.

If we have to strictly talk about the technical specifications of the SB Inferno we will simply say that the frequency response range is 20 Hz – 20 kHz, the impedance is 32 Ohms, while the sensitivity is 115 dB/mW – all these are for the headphone. Speaking of the microphone the specs change as follows – frequency response 100 Hz – 15 kHz, impedance of less than 2.2 kOhms and sensitivity of less than -40 dBV/Pa.

The new Creative SB Inferno gaming headset will be available starting on July 18 for a price of USD 49.99.
