Dark Sword

Dark Sword

We’ll finish today’s reviews with a game that we randomly selected but we are sure that you will like this one, especially if you like action games. This is so because Dark Sword is an action game as the name of the app suggests. Moreover this is a game with a story and with an excellent in-game atmosphere so the hours of fun are guaranteed.

The game takes you to a world where light has been stolen by an evil unknown. Of course you are the One that has to bring light back and do justice. So you set on a dangerous mission where you will have to defeat numerous enemies before you can get to the bottom of the evil that has overcome your world. The gameplay consists of numerous levels and this will make you feel like you are playing an arcade game of the recent past but the fact that the app comes with tons of levels is nice. Moreover the controls inside are easy – there are buttons that make you go left and right, strike enemies, drink health potions, jump and roll to avoid attacks and more. The goal in each level is to defeat all enemies that lurk there but while this may sound familiar and dull the atmosphere in the game is what makes a difference. Everything in the game is dark (remember, light is stolen), hopeless, ugly – it is as if you have descended in early levels of Hell. Dark Sword looks a lot like games such as Limbo and this adds tons of value to this game so we can only congratulate the developers. Dark Sword does come with 2D visuals only but you will like what you will see because of all the darkness and the ominous atmosphere in the game. The sound effects are also nice so no complaints here.

All in all Dark Sword is a great action game so fans of the genre should definitely download and play this app. The game has everything you would expect and then more. It offers dynamic action, an evil atmosphere and an interesting story behind and this is what makes Dark Sword an app worth your time.

Dark Sword is here on Google Play.
