Dots Heroes

Dots Heroes

Dots Heroes is a really simple action-oriented game that will bring you a lot of fun. At first the app seems to be too simple but after a while you will see that it has more than this.

This free Android game takes you to a fantasy world, which is threatened by some evil monsters. It is up to you to save the world and defeat the monsters so you set out on a quest to do exactly this. The actual gameplay is very simple – you have a certain amount of money and food and you can create soldiers that will fight the bad guys. The game presents you with numerous levels and stages but it has linear gameplay, which means you cannot unlock an area before defeating all the bad guys in the previous one. After you start the game you will be presented with a functional screen where you can see how much money and food you have and there are buttons that allow you to create soldiers. The app is mostly about managing resources rather than fighting because once you create your soldiers they start seeking enemies and automatically destroy them. So the only thing that you will be doing while playing Dots Heroes is managing money (you will collect money from fallen foes as well) and producing newer and newer soldiers that can overcome the resistance they will see and defeat the baddies. After you have enough money you can unlock new units as well and use them in the fights. You start with armored infantry and later you can unlock archers, dwarfs with huge war hammers, and more. Although it may seem that Dots Heroes does not offer interesting gameplay things are not such. In fact you will have to carefully watch what kind of soldiers you have on the battlefield and produce new ones on time so that your enemies will not overpower you. When you destroy the monsters’ base you win the level and you can go to the next one. This is the place to say that Dots Heroes has pixel-like 2D graphics and decent sound so do not expect anything fancy in these departments but even then the game does not disappoint.

Dots Heroes is a nice surprise. It is a prime example of a simple game that has potential. In fact while being simple, the app brings fun to the table, which is hidden in the small details. We liked Dots Heroes and we think you will too.
