Empire Z

Empire Z

One of the good things about having so many games on Google Play is the opportunity to choose – you can play action games, sports games, strategies, arcade games and more. After all life offers different things and events every day and if you are too tired for action games you can play something else – like a strategy game that will make you think and not tire you too quickly with pushing buttons here and there all the time. Empire Z is one such strategy game.

The game takes you to a future fantasy world where humanity has gone through a major unnamed disaster. One thing is clear – the world is in ruins, our civilization has fallen apart and it is up to you to rebuild it. Experience should tell you that things will not be so easy – apart from trying to build a viable economy you will be competing for resources against other human and non-human opponents. Fortunately for gamers Empire Z comes with a nice and long tutorial that will teach you how to play the game but after some time you will be on your own. Once done with this you are in charge of a ruined city so you will have to re-start its economy, build an industrial base, create an army to defend it, and more. The city you are in command of is not everything though as there’s a second view that shows you the world around and there you can see various other cities and places that you can conquer – the problem is that some of these cities are already occupied by other human players so there will be some interesting wars coming your way.

We should also say a few words about the sound and the graphics – Empire Z scores average in these two categories. The graphics are not the best but are not the worst either and we can say the same for the sound. Speaking of the graphics we should say that it is in 3D which should be appreciated as it adds some more value to the gameplay and the game.

Empire Z is a decent strategy game that will help you kill some time. It has everything that it needs to keep you in front of your Android device – just don’t have expectations that are too high.

Empire Z is here on Google Play.
