Monster Legends

Monster Legends

Monster Legends is a game that seems like an action-oriented one. After all what would you do with monsters? Experience has thought us that when you see monsters you usually fight them but is this the case here?

Actually not – Monster Legends has turned out to be a management game. The app puts you in charge of a world where you will have to create, breed and feed monsters, as well as create suitable habitats for them with the ultimate goal being to collect all the monsters that the game offers. Trust us – their number is big. The developers of the game say that Monster Legends offers more than 180 unique monsters to create with new ones coming out every week. Basically the game comes to this – you create a suitable habitat, then you hatch an egg and populate this habitat with a suitable monster, then you feed it and finally you breed it with a monster from a nearby habitat. The game tries to be more challenging, however, by adding quests to the main story line as well as giving you simple tasks like “Build an Earth habitat”, for instance. This is good, since the aforementioned activities will quickly become boring so there’s definitely need for something else. All this gameplay is then combined with really nice 2D graphics and nice sound and there’s even a tutorial inside the game that tells you how to play it so all is good here.

What can we finally say about this game? Well, you need dedication to play this game since it is full of micromanagement and then of repetitive actions. So, if you do not have enough dedication, then do not start, since you will quickly become bored and you will then uninstall this game. Second, the game is suitable for children, who like to create and take care of animals. Perhaps this is the reason why Monster Legends comes with a PEGI 7 rating. All in all it takes children with dedication to play Monster Legends so the success of the app depends on this condition. To everyone else Monster Legends is just another average game that may not be worth looking at.

Monster Legends is here on Google Play.
