Patriot Memory plans Stellar-C USB flash drive

The US memory maker Patriot Memory will soon release a new USB flash drive under the Stellar-C brand name, which suggests the flash drive will get support for the USB Type-C standard. Indeed this is the case with the Stellar-C model – it will also feature a metallic chassis, a cap-less design and compact dimensions.

The new Patriot Stellar USB Type-C flash drive will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB capacities and will deliver 110 MB/sec of read speed and 20 MB/sec of write speed which isn’t too fast. There’s no information on how much these two models will cost but given the low capacities and the low performance levels the Patriot Stellar-C should not cost that much.

The new Patriot Stellar USB Type-C flash drive will be in stores later this year.
