Plextor outs USB 3.0 capable 12X External Blu-ray Burner

Plextor has introduced their new external Blu-ray Disc writer which has Superspeed USB 3.0 and eSATA connections and offer burning speed up to 12x.

The PX-LB950UE has a “special” chassis channels for better airflow and cooling, piano black casing, a 8MB buffe and feature a low vibration system which eliminates vibrations. The drive can burn BD-R at maximum 12X and BD-R DL at 8X. It is also equipped with Lightscribe technology for disc labeling on a compatible media and comes bundled with CyberLink Blu-ray/DVD playback/ recording and PlexUTILITIES software.

The drive is backed by a two-year warranty and will be available this month for €209.
