PNY offers the Hook Attaché USB flash drive

PNY Technologies has released a new line of USB flash drives called Hook Attaché. The most intriguing feature of the new line is that there’s a 128 GB model, which allows you to virtually take tons of digital information with you, no matter whether it is videos, games, programs or HD movies.

Apart from the 128 GB model the Hook Attaché line offers USB flash drives with capacities of 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. All of them come housed in a cap-less chassis that sports a high-quality silver finish and a sleek, streamlined appearance. The chassis is also very durable – it comes with protection against dust, water and shock and will withstand daily use with ease. In addition there’s a hook that allows users to attach a Hook Attaché USB flash drive to other items such as keys, backpacks, bags and more.

Given all these features one would expect that the new PNY Hook Attaché flash drives come with support for USB 3.0. Unfortunately this is not the case – all drives in the line support only USB 2.0 or older, which given the high capacities in the line makes us wonder why there isn’t any USB 3.0 support.

The new Hook Attaché USB flash drive line works with Windows 2000 or newer and Mac OS X 10.3 or newer. The drives in the line come with a 5-year warranty too. As of now there’s no word on pricing.
