Samsung presents new SD and microSD cards

The South Korean technology giant Samsung has presented two new memory card lines, designed for use in smartphones, various digital cameras and other such devices. The lines are called PRO Plus and EVO Plus.

The Samsung PRO Plus line is available in 32 GB and 64 GB capacities and meets all UHS-I Class 3 (U3) and Class 10 speed requirements, reaching 95 MB/sec of read speed and 90 MB/sec of write speed. The EVO Plus line offers three capacities – 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB – and meets all UHS-I Class 1 (U1) and Class 10 speed requirements, reaching 80 MB/sec of read speed and 20 MB/sec of write speed.

Both lines come with protections against water, dust, high and low temperatures, shock, X-rays and more. The pricing of the two new memory card lines is unknown.
