Swords & Poker Adventures

Swords & Poker Adventures

Swords & Poker Adventures is a game that deserves some attention on Google Play. This is so because this app brings a lot of things in one place – fantasy, monsters, poker, thinking, luck and ultimately fun.

The game is all about playing poker with various monsters and one way of defeating them is by dealing strong poker hands and getting money out of them. This brings us to an important prerequisite – the game requires you to have some poker knowledge and if you don’t, then stop for a while and first read a book on this game. If you know how to play poker, however, you are in for some good time.

Apart from poker, though, Swords & Poker Adventures brings more to the table. Like we said the game has a pinch of fantasy inside and that’s why a bit later you will also find epic weapons, magic, shields and more that will help you fight the strongest of monsters in the game. This is because the main goal in the game is to save your world from the monster invasion. As you can see when the cards do not help, you will resort to weapons.

Swords & Poker Adventures is a 2D game only but has beautiful and colorful graphics that fit the game story and nice music that goes along with the app. We have no complaints here. Unfortunately the game has some major shortcomings – first it needs powerful hardware and more specifically at least a dual-core processor at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, PowerVR SGX540 graphics and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Second, despite the fact that we meet these requirements, the game had some graphical glitches that made playing the game a hard task. Of course, it could be just us, but the glitches were there.

All in all Swords & Poker Adventures is a great game – just make sure you have the hardware required or better. The game sits here on Google Play.
