Terminator Genisys: Revolution

With Terminator Genisys on the horizon there’s a clear terminator trend on Google Play and Terminator Genisys: Revolution, which happens to be a free Android game, is a clear example. Obviously you will be dealing with terminators here but is the game worth your time?

As you probably know the Terminator world is a huge one and Terminator Genisys: Revolution has to somehow cover it. That’s why the game is a relatively large one – at about 60 MB in size it takes some time to download and once it gets installed, it downloads some more files off the Internet. The process isn’t painfully long, so don’t worry about it. Once all the necessary files are there, the game starts and takes you to the future, where you will be fighting Skynet once again.

This is the place to say that Terminator Genisys: Revolution is a 3D shooter. The game treats your eyes with good 3D graphics that takes you deep into the terrible nuclear future of the Terminator world. You are Mr. Nobody at first but with all missions completed you will earn experience and make a name for yourself. The missions are usually simple – survive for a specific time period, help this soldier, kill terminators, get new and better weapons and then do the same. Aiming and shooting have been made easy – just slide your finger to make your character take a good position, then aim by doing the same and touch the Shoot button on the display. This is it. Like we said – Terminator Genisys: Revolution is a terminator-colored 3D shooter.

To be honest with you, Terminator Genisys: Revolution does not shine that much – in a few words the game looks a lot like other similar shooters but here you will be shooting at terminators, hence the name of the app. It will bring fun to fans of the Terminator franchise and then to people who like 3D shooters for Android but Terminator Genisys: Revolution is by no means a revolutionary game or a hit in the genre. It is just a good game and this is what it will remain.
