Zalman intros HDD Enclosure with Virtual Drive capabilities

Zalman Tech introduced a new interesting external HDD enclosure which feature world’s first virtual drive function, that will allow you to load up ISO images from CD/DVDs directly form the attached HDD drive.The model called ZM-VE200 has an aluminum casing with LCD that displays the list of the ISO files that have been loaded,  supports 2.5-inch SATA hard drives and solid state drives,  and don’t require any additional drivers and software to mount any ISO files for loading on a PC. It is USB powered and has both – USB 2.0 and eSATA interfaces, plus a write protect key to prevent accidental deletion. Expected to be available in March in black and silver, bundled with a carrying case for around €35.

Zalman also offers ZM-HE100 model which lacks the virtual drive feature for…sorry I don’t know.
