Tesoro shows Excalibur RGB mechanical gaming keyboard

Gamers, who live in the United States, will get a new gaming keyboard in the next few weeks. This time the keyboard comes from Tesoro Technology USA Inc., which is a manufacturer of high-end gaming products. The new product is called Excalibur and offers a number of features and innovative functions that include RGB LED backlit mechanical keys with 16.8 million colors as well as various technologies and modes to choose from.

Named after the legendary sword of King Arthur, the Excalibur will treat gamers with various illumination modes – you can choose among breathing mode, color loop mode and two gaming modes where only gaming keys are illuminated. If the light emitted is too strong you can choose among four levels of LED backlighting with dimming capability. The keyboard also offers the power of Full N-Key Rollover (NKPO) for full anti-ghosting functionality or USB 6 N-Key Rollover. Depending on the requirements, users can press any and all keys at the same time without worrying some key may not be registered. In addition there is a fast 1000 Hz polling rate that makes sure no keystroke is missed and the presence of instant game mode switching means that you will not have to worry about accidental key presses that will throw you out of a game.

Many other gaming keyboards include macros and the Excalibur does not disappoint in this sphere. The keyboard offers 512 KB of on-board memory and allows gamers to record sophisticated macros in an instant with no need for external software. To do so the only thing you should do is use the provided user-friendly graphical user interface. Moreover, every single key is fully programmable and allows for 5 sets of profiles, 300 macro keys and 2000 macro key presses per profile. Designed for long gaming sessions the Excalibur comes with mechanical switches that can sustain 60 million key strokes and anti-slip rubberized feet at the bottom keep the keyboard in place even during most intense gaming sessions.

The new Tesoro Excalibur RGB gaming keyboard will be on the market in December. You will be able to get it online at various Internet retailers for USD 119.
