ASUS DR-900 e-Reader unveiled

At CeBIT ASUS unveils its first 9-inch ebook reader – ASUS DR-900, equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11g or optional 3G connectivity and battery life that allows users to read over 10,000 pages on a single charge.

The DR-900 has a 9-inch monochrome touch screen display( 1024 x 768, 150 pixels per inch, 16 scales of grey) developed by SiPix and allows users to write notes with their fingers without a stylus or a physical keyboard. Other features include 4GB of integrated storage, 3.5mm headphone jack,  built in web browser, capability to access RSS feeds and support for PDF, TXT, MP3 and ePUB files.
