AOC unveils 21.5-inch USB-powered monitor

AOC has introduced a rather unusual 21.5-inch monitor that uses a single USB connection for both power and video signal. It also does not need a power cable or a VGA cable and the entire device uses just 8 watts of electrical power.

Specs-wise the AOC e2251Fwu features 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 150 cd/m2 of brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5 ms of response time and 170/160-degree viewing angle.

Using the DisplayLink driver the AOC e2251Fwu is also fully compatible with Windows and Mac PCs. It also comes with a removable base for maximum flexibility and the color of the monitor is piano black with glossy bezel.

The AOC e2251Fwu will cost 200 USD MSRP.
