ASUS works on 32-inch professional monitor

The Taiwanese company ASUS plans to release the new PA329Q professional monitor. It will come with a large 32-inch display and will appeal best to professionals, video editors, photographers and other people in these fields.

The new PA329Q monitor will be based on AH-IPS technology and will feature LED Backlight technology for excellent color precision. The display will work at 3840 x 2160 pixels and will offer a 16:10 aspect ratio, 138 ppi, 178-degree viewing angles, maximum brightness of 350 cd/m2, a dynamic contrast ratio of 100 million to one and 6 ms of response time.

The PA329Q will also cover 99 per cent of the Adobe RGB color space, 103 per cent of the NTSC space and 100 per cent of the sRGB color space. The monitor comes with the ASUS Splendid Video Intelligence Technology, which increases the color depth and intensity in real time. In 10-bit mode the PA329Q can represent 1073.3 million colors, which is impressive and in Picture by Picture and in Picture in Picture modes the PA329Q can show images from two sources at the same time. The stand of the PA329Q allows users to tilt the display, change its height and more.

The PA329Q comes with a 4-port USB 3.0 hub, one DisplayPort 1.2 (4K at 60 Hz) port, one Mini DisplayPort 1.2 (4K at 60 Hz), one HDMI 2.0 port (4K at 60 Hz) and two HDMI 1.4 ports (4K at 60 Hz). One of the USB 3.0 ports in the USB hub has been optimized for charging portable devices as well.

The new ASUS PA329Q will be on the market by the end of June. The price of the PA329Q is unclear as of now.
