Dell works on 2560 x 1080 monitor

2560 x 1600 and 2560 x 1440 displays are not exactly everywhere these days but this fact alone has not stopped Dell from creating a new 29-inch monitor with the weird resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels.
The new monitor will grace Dell’s UltraSharp S series of monitors and will offer IPS display technology. The aspect ratio will be the strange 21.33 : 9. The monitor will also offer four USB ports, D-Sub, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors.
The 2560 x 1080 is “coming soon” but Dell has failed to provide a price.
