LG announces 27-inch smart monitor

LG has announced the upcoming release of the MT93 – a smart IPS monitor with a 27-inch display.

The monitor will operate at 1920 x 1080 pixels (full HD resolution) and has full support for Internet services and web applications. The display features brightness of 250 cd/m2, 5 ms of response time and 178-degree viewing angles. The MT93 is equipped with a 3D Sound Zooming sound system with two 14W speakers, an integrated Ethernet adapter, three USB ports, two HDMI outputs and has support for three-dimensional content.

The LG MT93 also sports support for the Intel Wireless Display technology that wirelessly streams monitor images onto TV sets and works with the Miracast technology that sends video to smartphones.

Pricing is unknown.
