LG starts sales of 27-inch 27EA83 monitor

The Korean company LG has released the 27-inch 27EA83 monitor to market in Europe. The new device measures 643 x 226 x 459 mm and weighs 7.3 kilograms.

The 27EA83 is based on an IPS display that operates at 2560 x 1440 pixels and supports WHQD. The monitor offers 6 ms of response time, 350 cd/m2, dynamic contrast ratio of 5 000 000:1 and 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles.

In the back users will find the usual DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs as well as a three-port USB 3.0 hub. The monitor also comes with a stand that allows the user to adjust height and tilt for better viewing.

The LG 27EA83 is expected to sell for around EUR 727. You can pre-order it now.
