BenQ Joybook Lite U103BenQ officially expanded their ultra-portable netbook series today with the debut of their new Joybook Lite U103, a sub-one-inch wonder outfitted with Intel’s new Atom® processor, genuine Windows® 7 operating system, dual drives, and comprehensive connectivity. Appealing to today’s Internet-savvy, on-the-go multimedia users, the U103 is graced with a 10.1” UltraVivid™ LED backlit 16:9 display, a 1.3MP webcam, and a unique BenQ intuitive multi-touch touchpad.

Packed into the feather-light 1.1kg (2.4lbs.)^ U103 is Intel’s latest 2-chip processor distinguished by improved memory support and even lower power consumption than previous generation architecture. A substantial 532GB maximum capacity dual drive combines a built-in 500GB maximum-capacity HDD and an optional 32GB SSD, sufficient for amassing an impressive mobile library of movies, music, pictures, and more. The handy SSD saves users time by enabling them to quickly access information on the SSD. Computing prowess for on-the-go work and play is further supported by Windows 7; comprehensive connectivity that includes high-speed WiFi, IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, optional Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and optional 3.75G HSUPA; and a unique flip-top keyboard that is 92% of full-size for comfortable, error-free typing.
