FIC unveils SVE00 Netbook

First International Computer, Inc. (FIC), a world leader in the design and production of electronic devices,  presented their next generation Netbook, the model name SVE00. Designed to meet Intel’s latest Pine Trail-M platform to bring full function computing in lightweight, ultra-portable and low power consumption.

FIC’s latest Netbook is equipped with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, IntelR NM10 chipset and a 10.1-inch LED widescreen capable of running either a WindowsR 7 or an award-winning Phoenix HyperSpace Linux-based operating system.

“To be distinguished amongst the many Netbook models announced these days, the model SVE00 we’ve developed features many new user behaviors to make it much friendly to the computer working experience,” states Andy Lo, director of FIC Product Marketing Department.

FIC SVE00 Netbook

“Although the SVE00 is built in a 10.1-inch widescreen size, you won’t feel tiring at all when you work on the computer. We enlarged the size of palm rest area and touch pad with the size regularly used on 14-inch notebook,” declared by Andy Lo. “It can, moreover, open in 180 degree with screen rotate function bundled for quick information sharing on the desk each other.”

What else selling point does FIC implant in this model? “Rotating screen content can be easily operated by pressing the screen rotate button on the left of the keyboard deck. A Multi-touch Gesture enabled on the glide pad interacts with the computer screen instead of using a mouse. Users could just use two fingers to gesture on the touch pad then enlarge, narrow or rotate the picture on the screen.”

“The most marvelous thing is that the cursor can be moved exactly by following the direction of finger gesture according to users’ position not screen content’s position,” says Andy Lo. This intelligent technology dramatically improves the interaction between PC users and computer screen.

In addition to the above features, FIC’s SVE00 is offered the security lock holes which help to protect the system from theft and can be equipped with an optional carry belt. Besides, a waterproof keyboard protects the system from accidental water spill. Using the patented network activity LED light built in the top central of monitor assists the teacher or the leader of computing users to monitor network activity status at a glance of watch.

FIC SVE00 Netbook

At present, FIC offers two stylish colors, Ruby red and urban white, for choice. Glossy painting with UV coating dressing on the ultra-portable system glistens the SVE00 with a lot of fun and joy. This amazing gadget created by FIC is predicted to be rocking the Netbook market definitely.
