Lenovo announces IdeaPad Y400 multimedia notebook

Lenovo has announced the IdeaPad Y400, which will be the latest company multimedia notebook. As such the device comes with the latest hardware and some special options that will allow you to install an additional video card, storage device or cooler.

The IdeaPad Y400 sports a 14-inch HD display and runs the latest Intel Core Ivy Bridge processors as well as NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 655M graphics card with 2 GB of VRAM. The notebook comes with 1 TB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, a card reader, USB and HDMI ports as well as support for up to 16 GB of DDR3 memory and JBL speakers with Dolby Home Theater v4.0. The notebook will also run Windows 8 when the OS becomes available next month.
