Lenovo to debut a new gaming laptop

Lenovo is about to release a new gaming laptop under the IdeaPad line. The IdeaPad Y510p will be based on an Intel Core i7-4700QM Haswell processor at 2.4 GHz (3.4 GHz in Turbo Mode), powered by the HM86 Express chipset and will measure 387 x 259 x 15.5-36 mm for a total weight of 2.7 kilograms.

The IdeaPad Y510p features a 15.6-inch display at Full HD resolution, 8 GB of DDR3 SDRAM, a 1 TB hard drive at 5400 rpm with 24 GB of SSD cache and a discrete GeForce GT 750M graphics card with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory. The notebook also comes with a Gigabit network card, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a 720p web camera, built-in speakers, a multi-format card reader, a D-Sub/VGA connector as well as two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 ports.

The Lenovo IdeaPad will run Windows 8 out of the box and will sell for USD 1470 (recommended pricing). The notebook will also come with a 1-year warranty.
