Toshiba expands Satellite Pro lineup laptops

Toshiba Europe today adds four new models to its business Satellite Pro laptops range. The notebooks will be available during the second quarter of 2010 throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The new additions includes Satellite Pro L630, Satellite Pro L650, Pro C650 / C650D and L670. All Satellite Pro laptops come in a classic black design and textured surface for robustness and anti fingerprint marks, and are ENERGY STAR® 5.0 qualified.

Toshiba Satellite Pro L630

The first is 13.3- inch (33.8cm) Satellite Pro L630 offers LED backlighting (16:9)  TruBrite HD (1,366 x 768 pixels) display, Intel Core i5/ i3 processor, Intel HM55 Express Chipset with Intel GMA HD and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145, up to 8 GB DDR3 (1066 MHz), Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, WLAN (802.11 b/g/n), 2 x USB 2.0, 1x eSATA / USB combo port, Multi-Card Reader, a full-size flat keyboard and a Touch Pad with Gesture Control. It also offers analogue ports such as SCART, composite video, component, analogue audio input, PC-input (VGA), headphone socket and woofer out. A 3D sensor protects data stored on the hard disk drive in case of shocks or drops and prevents the optical disk drive from opening unintentionally while being carried.

Toshiba Satellite Pro L650

The specifications for Satellite Pro L650(15.6 inch) and L670(17.3 inch ) are pretty same, except the screen: 16:9 ratio HD display with LED backlighting, Intel Core i3-330M / Intel Core i5-430M, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 GPU, Gigabit ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi,  an HDMI port, 3 USB ports. Both models will also be available later with a non-reflective displays.

Satellite Pro C650

Finally the lower end models in this bunch, the Satellite C650/C650D features a 15.6 inch TruBrite display, max 4GB of RAM, 500GB of storage space and run Windows 7 Home Premium. The Satellite Pro C650 features an Intel CPU while the C650D utilises an AMD processor. The start price of Satellite C650 is going to be around £350.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 GPU, while 802.11n Wi-Fi and Gigabit offer the latest in connectivity options, while the addition of an HDMI port, as well as three USB ports offers sufficient connections for adding peripherals.
