ADATA releases the HV100 external hard drive

The well-known maker of computer memory, flash drives and storage devices ADATA has released the new HV100 external hard drive. The new company product comes with a stylish chassis that features a sandblasted smudge-free finish and the latest USB 3.0 standard for blazing fast transfer speeds as well as G Shock Sensor Protection for excellent data safety.

The HV100 is offered in three capacities – 500 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB and features a bright blue/red LED indicator that shows the data transfer status. The device also comes with free OStoGO and HDDtoGO software as well as ADATA’s 3-year warranty.

ADATA says the HV100 is perfect for storing and carrying personal files, photos, videos, movies, pictures and other information. The drive features a tough plastic case that protects the data on the hard drive, while the sandblasted finish eliminates smudges and fingerprint smears as you carry the drive with you. A steady blue LED light shows the drive gets power while another blue LED informs the user of their data transfer status. If the drive suffers a shock then the ADATA G Shock Sensor Protection starts up automatically and displays a flashing red light on your HV100 interface. When the shock has passed a solid blue light displays and indicates that normal operation has resumed.

The new ADATA HV100 drive is available now from ADATA retailers around the globe. The Taiwanese company has not provided pricing, however.
