Asetek offers liquid cooling for GeForce GTX Titan X

Asetek offers liquid cooling for GeForce GTX Titan X

The GeForce GTX Titan X is undoubtedly a very nice graphics card but the high price of USD 999 will likely make many gamers forget about this hardware jewel. Those of you who get it anyway will have a small bonus feature – you can now cool your GTX Titan X with a liquid cooling solution.

The liquid cooler comes from Asetek, a company known for making various cooling solutions and more. The cooler is called 740GN and includes a 120 mm Enermax UCTB12 cooling fan. Now if you think that you will have to take off the cooling fan of the GTX Titan X you will be wrong – the original air cooler of the GTX Titan X stays but when the Asetek 740GN is installed the cooling fan cools the video card memory and various PCB components. The liquid cooler serves the GM200 GPU only and includes an integrated water pump. In addition the Asetek 740GN includes support for the GeForce GTX 770 and GTX 780 video cards so if you have one of these you are covered too. Finally the liquid cooler is designed to last for up to 50 000 hours.

No word on pricing.
