ASUS releases TUF Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1 motherboard

The Taiwanese company ASUS has released one more Intel Z170-based motherboard that is called TUF Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1. The main feature of the new motherboard is that it has been designed to work 24/7 with no problems at all.

The new TUF Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1 board is ATX form factor compliant and supports all new Intel Skylake processors. The board also has Thermal Armor protection that keeps it away from harm and to eliminate heat under the protective mask the Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1 relies on a number of small cooling fans. The new ASUS product has a 7-phase power system and gets power from one 24-pin connector and another 8-pin EPS connector. It has four DDR4 DIMM slots for up to 64 GB of memory at 2400 MHz, one PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot, one PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot at x8, one PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot at x4, three PCI-E 3.0 x1 slots, four SATA 3.0 ports, two SATA Express ports, one M.2 x4 Socket 3 port with support for PCI-E and SATA, 7.1-channeled Realtek ALC1150 sound and two Gigabit Ethernet controllers – Intel I219V and Realtek RTL8111H. In the back users will also find support for USB – the Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1 has one USB 3.1 Type-A port, one USB 3.1 port, and two USB 3.0 ports but you can add more USB ports to the board via a special adapter.

The price of the TUF Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1 is unknown as of now.
