ECS debuts Durathon technology for improved stability and durability

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has introduced a new motherboard technology called Durathon technology that dramatically improves stability and durability of ECS motherboards.

Thanks to the implementation of the highest quality motherboard components and new designs the new ECS motherboards with Durathon technology make use of the best bi-directional splitting glass fabric with up to three times better humidity protection than general glass fabric. Furthermore this type of glass fabric reduces the risk of motherboard burnout and makes it more reliable and sturdy against heat.

Another great new feature of the Durathon generation of ECS motherboards is the inclusion of ultra-high quality solid capacitors instead of regular electrolytic capacitors that last up to 32 000 hours. As a comparison the ECS Durathon capacitors can function for up to 200 000 hours and come with six times longer lifespan at operating temperatures above 65 degrees Celsius, which includes full functionality at 100 degrees Celsius for extended periods of time. In addition ECS motherboards with Durathon get tested in extreme temperatures and must cover 1507 comprehensive test points that check the motherboard in every aspect.

ECS plans to introduce the new technology in all its motherboards but beware – the Durathon logo on your motherboard does not mean the motherboard is suitable for overclocking.
