HIS announces new AMD Radeon card

HIS Digital has announced a new AMD-based video card – the Radeon HD 6930. The new video card comes with a rather long name – HIS 6930 IceQ X 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E 2xDVI/HDMI/2xMini DP.

The new Radeon HD 6930 solution comes with the company IceQ X cooling solution that comes with a 92-mm cooling fan and four heat transferring pipes.

The graphics core features 1280 stream processors running at 750 MHz. The 1 GB GDDR5 memory runs at 4800 MHz effective frequency and is accessed via a 256-bit bus. The card also supports CrossFire X and Eyefinity and comes with two DVI ports, two mPD ports and one HDMI port.

Expected price is around 200 USD. The actual release date is still unknown.
