Micro-Star International (MSI) has announced the new Z170A Tomahawk AC motherboard that targets gamers around the world. The new motherboard combines premium hardware with a relatively low price so it may be the perfect choice for your new Skylake-based gaming PC.
The new Z170A Tomahawk AC gaming motherboard comes in red and black and looks really cool. The board is based on Intel’s high-end Z170 chipset and features full support for Intel’s LGA 1151 Skylake processors. The Z170A Tomahawk AC is an ATX motherboard that includes one 24-pin power connector and another 8-pin EPS one. The device has four DDR4-3600 memory slots for up to 64 GB of DDR4 SDRAM in dual-channeled mode, two PCI-E 3.0 x16 slots (one of them works at x4 speed), three PCI-E 3.0 x1 slots and two PCI slots.
The Z170A Tomahawk AC gaming motherboard also provides six SATA 3.0 ports, one M.2 port, HDMI 2.0, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, six USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, 7.1-channeled Realtek ALC892 sound, Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit Ethernet, Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 Wi-Fi and finally DVI, D-Sub and VGA ports in the back.
The board sells for just USD 149.99, which is not that much for what it offers.
