The US maker of memory Patriot has unveiled a new memory line known as Viper Elite. The new memory follows the DDR4 standard and is fully compatible with Intel’s latest Haswell-E and Skylake processors as well as with the Intel 100-series chipsets.

“Patriot strives to deliver excellent price per performance when launching a new product,” said Les Henry, VP of Engineering at Patriot. “The Viper Elite dual kit is no exception. We want to enable our customers to have the latest and greatest technology at an affordable price and we’ve done that here; top speeds at an excellent market price.”

The Viper Elite DDR4 memory line has been designed from the ground up to offer a substantial memory upgrade to gamers and PC users without emptying their wallets. The memory line includes kits with capacities of 8 GB (2 x 4 GB), 16 GB (2 x 8 GB), 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) and 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) and requires the standard 1.2V or 1.35V to run properly. The Viper Elite line runs at 2400 – 3200 MHz, depending on the kit and frequency chosen and offers three colors to choose from – red, blue and gray.

The new Patriot memory is available now at various online retailers where it sells for USD 52.99 – USD 499 depending on the capacity and the speed chosen.
