SiS Introducing SiS672-Based chipset in Lenovo Q100 to Enter Mass Production

Sis-672_968_307-Lenovo-Q100SiS today announced the SiS672/968/307DV chipset supporting the latest Intel® Atom™230 and series CPU has been adopted by Lenovo to develop the Ideacentre Q project — Q100. With low power consumption and without fan characteristic of SiS chipsets, the new launched Lenovo Q100 is designed for users to experience the noiseless environment and to achieve energy saving and CO2 reduction.

The Lenovo Q100 are Green PCs, the space-saving design is only 0.5L. This advance power management technology performs ultra low power consumption under 22Watt. The frequency of Wi-Fi wireless network options can reach for remote access. The whole world’s smallest and quiet and cost-efficient of revolutionary computer–Lenovo Q100 about to overturn the traditional PC market.



Combined with the SiS672/968/307DV chipset, the Lenovo Q100 supports the supports the Intel® Atom™ 230 CPU and DDR2-667 memory with memory size of up to 1GB. The SiS Mirage™3 Graphics is integrated in the SiS672 to deliver excellent graphics performances under 2D and 3D performing. With support of SiS Real Video Technology, the image quality and high definition of digital entertainment devices, such as DTV, VCD and DVD can be presented perfectly and thoroughly under Windows Operating System. Besides, SiS968 also provides the 2 Serial ATA2 high-speed ports to accelerate the data transmission speed up to 3Gb/s, by equipping six USB2.0 ports, the SiS968 enables the Lenovo Q100 need of connecting with multiple peripheral devices. With SiS968 High Definition Audio and SiS307DV VGA output features, Lenovo Q100 makes users experience the truly High definition Multimedia content playback. Together with SiS968 Gigabit Ethernet functions, it features high-speed internet access for seamless web browsing.
