Super Flower offers 1600W PSUs in Europe

Having a PC with premium hardware inside is always a nice thing but exotic motherboards, the latest video cards, tons of memory and spacious hard drives are simply not enough – you need a high-end power supply unit too that will be able to feed all this expensive hardware with electricity that meets all standards. Otherwise you may end up with a smoking PC and dead hardware, especially if you overclock your components.

To make sure that this horrific scenario will not happen under any circumstances the PSU maker Super Flower has released three new PSUs with the fantastic capacity of 1600 watts. Designed for heavily overclocked systems and ultra high-end computers the PSUs share the Leadex brand name but differ in efficiency. Thus users will be able to choose among the Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1600W Fully Modular “80 Plus Titanium” PSU with efficiency of 92%/94%/90% at 20%/50%/100% load, the Super Flower Leadex Platinum 1600W Fully Modular “80 Plus Platinum” PSU with efficiency of 90%/92%/89% at 20%/50%/100% load and the Super Flower Leadex Gold 1600W Fully Modular “80 Plus Gold” PSU with efficiency of 87%/90%/87% at 20%/50%/100% load.

The three PSUs share a lot of the tech specs – they offer a 140 mm silent DBB fan, full Japanese 105°C capacitors, an ECO Intelligent Thermal control system, a large number of connectors and a single rail design. In addition the connectors include the popular patented Install Crystal Clear Cube Connectors with LED. The PSUs measure 150 x 86 x 220 mm (W x H x D), come colored in black, and offer a full range auto voltage detection design (100V-240V), compliance with ATX 12V. V2.2, EPS 12V. V2.91 & SSI EPS 12V. V2.92 specifications, compliance with Energy Star Standard & EuP (Energy Using Products) regulations, overvoltage/overcurrent/overpower/short circuit/undervoltage protection, support for all Intel and AMD multi-core CPUs as well as support for all ATX/BTX compatible motherboards, support for NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFire and more. The PSUs also offer 1 x 20+4-Pin ATX12V/EPS12V, 1 x 8-Pin EPS12V, x 4+4-Pin ATX12V/EPS12V, 9 x 6+2-Pin-PCIe, 5 x 6-Pin-PCIe, 14 x SATA, 5 x 4-Pin-Molex, 2 x Floppy connectors and a warranty of full 5 years.

These Super Flower PSUs are truly impressive, aren’t they? Unfortunately they are available in Europe only where the Titanium model sells for around EUR 349.90, the Platinum model costs EUR 299.90, while the Gold model can be yours for EUR 269.90.
