VAIO J Series All-In-One PC announced

Sony has announced a new VAIO J Series all-in-one PC. The AIOs features unique ‘loop’ design,  offering space underneath the screen to stow the keyboard,  while you’re watching movies or enjoying music.

The slim all-in-one pc offers 54.7cm (21.5”) touchscreen Full HD VAIO Display Plus, Intel Core i3 processors, NVIDIA GeForce 310M GPU with 512MB dedicated memory and 500GB  of hard disc space for storage.

Under the  touchpanel you will also get a 4GB DDR3, WLAN 802.11b/g/n,  Bluetooth for cable-free accessories, Motion Eye digital camera and DVD±RW or Blu-ray drive. Sony also added some touch-friedly software like Media Gallery- This ‘smart’ media player organises your photos, videos and music for easy browsing with touch, flick, drag and rotate gestures. Media Gallery even learns from your preferences, recommending new content to deliver a truly personalised entertainment experience”, YouPaint is an easy-to-use art package that offers limitless creative fun for kids and parents alike. Choose from a huge palette of brushes, crayons, image pipes, tracing papers and more. Add sparkle to your masterpiece with a generous choice of decorative stamps. Multi-touch support lets you resize and rotate stamps with your fingertips: you can even move and bounce stamps around the screen with exciting motion effects.

The J AIO  comes with Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit) pre-installed and will be available from July 2010.
