Ainovo launches very cheap Ice Cream Sandwich tablet

The Chinese electronics manufacturer has released Ainovo Novo 7 that retails for just 99 USD in China. US customers will be able to use the tablet for about 150-160 USD which covers the shipping charges.

What makes the Novo 7 unique is its price tag and features.  For a price that is considered very low, users get a 1 GHz MIPS processor, a Vivante GC860 graphics processing unit, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage that is expandable via a microSD card. The tablet also comes with Wi-Fi support, front and rear cameras and the ability to play 1080p videos. Ainovo claims the battery is quite durable and promises 7 to 8 hours of usage; an additional bonus for purchasers is the game Spiderman – Total Mayhem that the tablet comes with. The display is 7-inch with a resolution of 800×480 pixels.  The new Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS powers the device.
