Lenovo releases four new tablets

The Chinese company Lenovo has officially released the rumored A-series tablets. There are four models to choose from – the Tab A7-30, A7-50, Tab A8-50 and Tab A10-70.

The newcomers come with 7-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch displays and share some of the specs. Thus they come with built-in Dolby speakers for better sound, microSD card slots as well as Android. The Lenovo Tab A7-30 comes with a quad-core Mediatek MT8382 processor at 1.3 GHz and sports 1024 x 600 pixel resolution for its 7-inch display. The device also has a rear 2 MP camera, 4 GB of internal storage, a front VGA camera, 3G, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 3500 mAh battery. The difference between the A7-30 and A7-50 is that the latter comes with two 2 MP cameras and 8 GB of internal memory.

The Lenovo Tab A8-50 has an 8-inch display at 1280 x 800 pixels, a quad-core MediaTek MT8121 or MT8382 processor at 1.3 GHz. There are two cameras too – one rear at 5 MP and one front at 2 MP. The tablet also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a GPS receiver and an optional 3G modem.

The Lenovo Tab A10-70 comes with a 10-inch display at 1280 x 800 pixels and sports a quad-core MediaTek MT8121 or MT8382 processor at 1.3 GHz. Just like in the A8-50, this one also has two cameras – one rear at 5 MP and one front at 2 MP. The tablet has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and optional support for 3G.

The Lenovo Tab A7-50 will sell for USD 165, while the A8-50 and A10-70 will sell for USD 235 and USD 285 respectively. Expect the new Lenovo tablets in a store near you by the end of Q2 2014.
