Samsung brings Android 2.3 ‘Gingerbread’ update for Galaxy S, Ace, Fit, Gio, Mini and Tab

Samsung Electronics today announced that will release a  Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update for its family of Android mobile devices. The update roll out will begin from UK and Nordic countries from mid-May and gradually continue to other European markets, North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East Asia, Africa and rest of the world.

The Gingerbread taste will be available for Galaxy S , Ace, Fit, Gio, Mini, as well as for Samsung Galaxy Tab. The update will bring some performance enhancement, “more powerful 3D Graphics”, improvements in the user interface and improved copy-and-paste functionality. As usual, it will be available via the Kies device management software, so be ready and if you don’t have it,  download it on your laptop from Samsung’s website.
