BlueAnt Wireless today introduced a new version of its best-selling BlueAnt Q2 Bluetooth Headset- the Q2 Platinum edition.

Aside from the new platinum “perfection”, the Q2 Platinum version doesn’t offers any new features and extras. It comes packed with same advanced features as its siblings – dual microphones, advanced voice-control technology with voice recognition command set,text to speech feature, Voice Isolation and Wind Armour technology, SMS readout on compatible handsets, A2DP audio streaming and its is firmware upgradeable via USB on your PC.

The Q2 Platinum also supports free, downloadable Android application that allows any Android 2.0+ handset to play text messages through the headset, as well integration with Microsoft’s Bing 411 service for access to stock quotes, movie times, weather, sports, news, traffic updates and more.
