Apple to launch modified version of the iPhone 5c

It is not a secret anymore that the iPhone 5c has turned out to be a disappointment for Apple as the smartphone does not sell as well as its bigger brother – the iPhone 5s. Now in an attempt to turn the tide Apple has decided to release a modified version of the iPhone 5c that comes with 8 GB of internal memory.

The new iPhone 5c is based on the Apple A6 processor and comes with a 4-inch display that works at 1136 x 640 pixels. The device carries a rear 8 MP camera that allows users to shoot 1080p videos, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a battery that can power the device for up to 10 hours of talk time (250 hours in standby mode).

The 8 GB version of the iPhone 5c will sell for EUR 509, which is 60 EUR cheaper than the 16 GB iPhone 5c. The new phone will be on the market starting tomorrow.
