Archos offers 50d Helium smartphone with Lollipop

The French gadget maker Archos has updated its smartphone product list with the new Archos 50d Helium smartphone. The newcomer is a budget-oriented device but despite this it comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Archos 50d Helium will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and will have a 5-inch sensor display at 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone will offer 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory as well as a microSD card slot and support for LTE.

On the back the Archos 50d Helium will have a 13 MP camera while up front users will take selfies with a 5 MP shooter. The device will also have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 2100 mAh battery. All this hardware will be housed in a chassis that measures 146 x 72.1 x 8.4 mm for total weight of 154 grams.

The Archos 50d Helium will sell for USD 130, which isn’t that much considering what you will get.
