BenQ presents the T55 smartphone

BenQ has presented a new smartphone that comes with the rather short name of T55. Unfortunately the device is nothing special but those of you who need a cheap smartphone may like this one.

The T55 is a budget-oriented smartphone that features a 5.5-inch HD display and a MediaTek MT6735 processor. The device is equipped with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory but there’s also a version that doubles the memory to 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage memory. The rear camera offers 13 MP of sensitivity and an aperture of f/2.4. The front camera is a 3 MP unit. The device measures 154.5 x 75.5 x 8.95 mm and weighs 164 grams. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and gets powered by a 2900 mAh battery.

The price of the BenQ T55 is unknown but the smartphone will likely be cheap.
