First pics of Sony’s Xperia Z4

The first pics of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 flagship smartphone have reached the Internet. According to them fans of Sony will get a device with thin bezels, improved resistance against dirt and water and a glossy metallic cover. The chassis of the Z4 also combines features from both the Z2 and Z3 models.

The preliminary specs list of the Sony Xperia Z4 lists a 5.2-inch sensor display at Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels, 565 ppi), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with eight 64-bit cores with big.LITTLE architecture (four fast Cortex-A57 cores for heavy tasks and four slow Cortex A-53 for lighter tasks), Adreno 430 graphics, support for LTE Cat 6, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, a rear 20.7 MP camera with a Sony Exmor RS IMX271SMK sensor, Bluetooth 4.1, wireless charging, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and a 3100 mAh battery. The device also runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. A cheaper version of the Z4 will have a 5.2-inch display at Full HD resolution but will keep the rest of the hardware.

The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected in early summer 2015.
