HTC releases new budget smartphone

It is always nice to have the latest and greatest smartphone, right? You have instant access to the newest technologies and unprecedented power but all this comes at a high price. If you want a smartphone that will not empty your wallet then you can take a look at HTC’s latest budget smartphone – the Desire 316.

The new smartphone measures 140 x 72 x 9.7 mm and weighs 160 grams but all this hosts a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor at 1.3 GHz and Adreno 203 graphics. The rest of the specs include a 5-inch sensor display at qHD resolution (540 x 960 pixels), 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32 GB), a rear 5 MP camera and a front VGA one, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11n Wi-Fi and more.

The Desire 316 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and sells for USD 288.87 in China.
