HTC unleashes Desire 501 smartphone

HTC, a well-known maker of smartphones, has released the Desire 501 – a new mid-range smartphone that offers decent power for its money.

The Desire 501 measures 128.5 x 66.7 x 9.8 mm and weighs 130 grams. The device is based on a 1.15 GHz dual-core processor and sports a 4.3-inch sensor display that works at WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels), 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32 GB), a rear 8 MP camera with flash, a 2 MP front camera, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, a 2100 mAh battery and a number of functions that ease its use such as Geo Tagging, Face Detection, Touch Focus and others.

The HTC Desire 501 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and comes with Sense 5. It can be yours for USD 330.
