Huawei Ascend W2 specs leaked online

As it often happens the specs of an upcoming smartphone have somehow found their way online. This time it’s the Huawei Ascend W2 – based on Windows Phone 8.

According to this unofficial information the Ascend W2 will be based on a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor at 1.5 GHz and will have a 4.5-inch IPS display at 720p resolution (1280 x 720 pixels). There will also be 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, a rear 8 MP memory with LED flash and 1080p video recording and a front 2 MP camera. In addition the smartphone will have 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, a GPS receiver, support for HSPA+ and a built-in 2000 mAh battery.

The new Huawei smartphone is expected to cost around USD 300 when it appears this summer.
