LG debuts Optimus F5 and F7 smartphones at MWC 2013

LG, one of the big names when it comes to mobile devices and smartphones, has unveiled two new smartphones that belong to the company’s Optimus F series – the Optimus F7 and Optimus F5.

The Optimus F7 smartphone is equipped with a 4.7-inch Tru HD IPS display with support for 720p resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) and is based on a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor. The smartphone also sports 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and a rear 8 MP camera. The battery that powers the F7 packs 2540 mAh of power.

The LG Optimus F5 is a less powerful model – it has a 4.3-inch IPS display at qHD resolution (540 x 960 pixels) and is based on a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. The rest of the specs include 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a rear 5 MP camera and a 2150 mAh battery.

Both devices support LTE and run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Market availability is expected in Q2 2013. Pricing is unfortunately unknown.
